There’s a particular kind of silence that follows a spiritual exit. The structure collapses, the map burns, and you’re left in a space that feels like neither here nor there. Not quite lost, but not yet found.
We know that space well.
We’re Ryan Hunt, Mindy DeGraffenried, and Bianca Celine—three individuals who once stood rooted in the same religious soil, only to find ourselves called elsewhere. All of us were raised in the Mormon tradition. All of us left it. And now, years later, we find ourselves gathered around a new kind of fire—one lit by questions, curiosity, and the stars.
Faith Meets Fate is the name we’ve given this project: a video series, a conversation, and hopefully, a growing community of kindred seekers. At its heart, it’s a space where we explore the intersection of what we once believed and what we’re discovering now. It’s a place for wandering stories, quiet realizations, and the steady unfolding of meaning after the fall of dogma.
What brought us together wasn’t just our shared religious past. It was also our shared devotion to astrology—not as a belief system, but as a language. A language that helped us name the ache of transformation. That reminded us there is order and rhythm in the chaos. That gave us a framework to understand why certain endings had to happen, and how new beginnings were always on their way.
For Mindy, this journey has meant rediscovering self while navigating parenting without the scaffolding of church guidance. For Bianca, it’s been the deep, unsettling work of peeling back layers of inherited identity to see what was left. For Ryan, it’s been the revelation that archetypes—those timeless patterns—speak just as powerfully as scripture ever did.
We aren’t here to teach. This won’t be a formal course or another place to prescribe beliefs. What we’re creating is more like a conversation in a quiet room, where stories are shared slowly and meaning is shaped over time.
Each of us will be sharing our personal stories in upcoming episodes—where we’ve come from, what we’ve learned, and how astrology has helped us find ground underfoot again. We’ll also talk about our shared experiences with charts, planetary transits, and the symbolism that helps us connect the dots between fate and choice, past and future, grief and growth.
Eventually, we hope to welcome other voices too—fellow travelers, storytellers, seekers. This isn’t just about our journey. It’s about all of us learning to speak a new language of faith—one rooted not in certainty, but in presence. In pattern. In possibility.
